Hello to everyone.
I hope the holidays were fun. I had my family over in Sheffield for Christmas, including my seven month old niece. Very sweet!!
Now we're back in the thick of things. The quartet and I gave a concert at the Royal Northern College in Manchester last night; Borodin and Janacek quartets and the Dvorak Quintet, which was fun. For me it was quite a nostalgia trip. When I was at Chetham's (years ago!!) I used to play concertos with the school orchestra in that very hall. Although it was very scary at the time, now I find a lovely, friendly place to play.
I have to dash to Barnsley now for the Elgar Quintet. What more do you want from life?!
